These Terms & Conditions apply to courses, webinars, programs, initiatives, and other learning experiences organised by by FDSE AB (referred to as Sustainable Fashion Academy or SFA). By registering for or participating in a learning experience, program, or initiative, the participant or participating organisation accepts these Terms & Conditions.
Registration to a Sustainable Fashion Academy learning experience is binding. As a registrant, you are personally responsible for the cost of a course, webinar, program, or initiative participation fee (VAT may apply).
Sustainability Fundamentals course fees must be paid in full no later than two (2) week before the start of the course to secure your seat.
Webinar fees and short-term program fees are to be paid at the time of registration.
Participation fees for long-term initiatives and networks, including STICA and STICA+, are invoiced annually unless otherwise agreed.
We accept payment via online payment. Please contact us or the respective contact person listed for each learning experience or initiative if you wish to pay by invoice.
If you need to cancel your Sustainability Fundamentals course registration, the following terms apply:
• Up to 3 weeks before the course start: 95% of the total tuition will be refunded.
• Less than 3 weeks before the course start: no tuition will be refunded.
An exception is made in case of illness proved by a doctor’s certificate, in which case the participant will be refunded 90% of total tuition if cancelled before the start of the course. No refunds will be given if such cancellations are made after the start of the course.
Participants may transfer their seat to another person at no additional cost. The Sustainable Fashion Academy must be informed in writing and provided with the replacement participant’s contact details, including email address.
If you need to cancel your webinar or short-term program registration, the following terms apply:
• Up to 8 weeks prior to the webinar or program start: 95% of the total fee will be refunded.
• Between 8 weeks and 2 weeks prior to the webinar or program start: 50% of the fee will be refunded.
• Less than 2 weeks prior to the webinar or program start: no fee will be refunded.
An exception is made in case of illness proved by a doctor’s certificate, in which case the participant will be refunded 90% of the total fee if cancelled before the start of the webinar or program. No refunds will be given if such cancellations are made after the start of the webinar or program.
Participants may transfer their seat to another person at no additional cost. The Sustainable Fashion Academy must be informed in writing and provided with the replacement participant’s contact details, including email address.
Participation in the Learning & Innovation Network (LIN) is confirmed on an annual basis. Existing participants will be contacted during the autumn regarding continuation for the following calendar year. Participation for the coming year is considered confirmed upon written acceptance by the participating organisation.
Participation in the Scandinavian Textile Initiative for Climate Action (STICA) and the Scandinavian Textile Initiative for Nature Action (STICA+) is based on annual participation with automatic renewal until cancelled by the participating organisation.
Cancellation of participation must be submitted in writing via email no later than two (2) months prior to the start of the upcoming calendar year. If cancellation is not received within this period, participation will automatically renew for the coming year and the participating organisation remains responsible for the applicable participation fee.
Cancellation becomes effective only upon written confirmation from The Sustainable Fashion Academy.
The Sustainable Fashion Academy reserves the right to cancel a course, webinar, program, initiative, or other learning experience due to low enrolment or circumstances beyond our control.
Participants or participating organisations will be notified by phone or email if this is the case. At such time:
• You may join a different course, webinar, program, or learning experience of the same value at no additional cost; or
• You may receive a full refund.
The Sustainable Fashion Academy reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to schedules, speakers, experts, activities, timelines, formats, and program content where necessary.
When using sustainablefashionacademy.org or participating in platforms, forums, webinars, or digital spaces organised by The Sustainable Fashion Academy, users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and registration information.
The Sustainable Fashion Academy has access to profile information but does not have access to user passwords. If you have forgotten your password, you may use the “Forgot password” function available on the platform.
User accounts and registration details are personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared, or sublicensed to another individual or organisation.
Unless otherwise agreed, materials, presentations, recordings, tools, and other content shared through Sustainable Fashion Academy platforms, webinars, programs, initiatives, forums, or communities may not be reproduced, distributed, shared externally, or sold without explicit permission from the creator or The Sustainable Fashion Academy.
Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality, intellectual property, and contributions of other participants and speakers across all learning experiences and collaborative initiatives.
