When you sign up for any of our services – paid or otherwise – we will record specific personal information about you, such as your name, email address, job title and billing address. We will also collect and store information about your use of our services so as to improve them. For example, we keep a log of what features are being used at any time. We also log account and transaction history for accounting purposes, and to monitor our business activities.
Here at SFA, we take your privacy seriously and we will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us. We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver our own services.
We may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices) or which you have specifically requested (such as newsletters or notifications when a course is starting). You have the ability to opt out of any of this communication, or request to view the data that we store about you at any time. To do so, please email us.
When you sign up for our newsletter, only your email address will be saved in order to send news, information and updates about SFA. Your email address will only be saved for the time you are subscribed to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us. As soon as you finish the subscription, your data will be cleared.
3rd Party Solutions
Sustainablefashionacademy.org uses the 3rd party service solutions PayPal and Stripe for secure online credit card payments. As third party services, Paypal and Stripe ensure the security of the payment solution. Please refer to PayPal and Stripe to read more about the services specifically.
The registration to a Sustainable Fashion Academy learning experience is binding. As a registrant, you are personally responsible for the cost of the course (VAT may apply).
The course fee is non-refundable.
The fee must be paid in full no later than 1 week before the start of the course (final payment date) to secure your seat. If you are unable to attend, another person can take your seat at no extra cost.
We accept payment via online payment. Please contact us or the respective contact person listed for each learning experience to pay with our invoicing option.
If you need to cancel your registration, the following terms apply:
Cancellation by The Sustainable Fashion Academy
We reserve the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment up to 10 business days before the course starts.
Keep this in mind when planning. You will be notified by phone or email if this is the case, at which time:
The course fee is not refundable. If a participant is unable to attend, another can take his/her place at the booked dates without extra cost.
Personal Use & Use of User ID/Password
When using sustainablefashionacademy.org as a registered user, part of the Sustainable Fashion Academy Community, it is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your registration information. We (The Sustainable Fashion Academy) have access to your profile information, but do not have access to your password. If you have forgotten your password you may use the “Forgot password” function available.
You are not allowed to sell, transfer or sublicense your registration information. Your registration information and profile are personal.
You may not share, reproduce, or sell the work of others presented on sustainablefashionacademy.org or the forum without explicit consent from the creator or Sustainable Fashion Academy respectively.
